Biography: Murakawa was born in Adachi Japan, a small quiet ward where very few jobs existed and at a young age his family moved to Liberty City where his father worked as a successful fisherman. Murakawa did not however desire to fish and so after High School he enlisted in the U.S. Army serving for 4 years as a Sergeant he only saw combat once in his time with the military. While on a routine scouting mission in Iraq, his convoy was attacked by insurgents utilizing an IED and the humvee he rode in went up in flames. As he crawled from the wreckage burned and scarred he was shot twice in the calf and in the shoulder. As a man prepared to kill him with a pistol he opened fire, shooting the man several times as the end of the convoy arrived, providing covering fire he was evacuated with the other members of his company and he spent months in the hospital healing his wounds. He was honorably discharged after he found he could no long withstand the conditions of the area and sent home to Liberty City and decided he no longer wanted any part of violence and that he wanted to help people and so he went to school for the next several years and earned himself a college degree and the first job he found out of College was working in the Schottler Medical Center.
