Derick Freeman always found a way to get himself into trouble and on late afternoon trouble got into him. As he was walking home from school he saw a bag full of money in a ditch, he decided to take it seeing as he and his ma really needed the money because of VERY expensive bills. Little did he know that money belonged to the mob, after having a lot of near death experiences (guns being shot at him) he began to realize that taking the money may have been a really bad idea? to escape his hunters he fled to join the military and 5 years later he moved to Liberty City.
