July 8, 1895
Dear diary,
Hello, my name is Jenna White i am 19 years of age, my mother and father were amoung the

richest families of our times. Im not sure what my father did for work, he mostly stayed in his

study, and my mother, well i never knew my mother,she passed the night she gave birth to me.

I have only seen pictures of her. She was very beauitful, and everyone says she was kind and

smart. Father never talked about her, and people said that after she passed he just wasn't the

same anymore. About a year ago he passed away and is now along side my mother. He has left

everything to me; the money and the mansion he had bought for mother so long ago. As i sit

here in this house i feel only sadness, and i can't bare to stay another second.So, thats why

next week all of my things will be packed and i will set off to Texas to begin my new life. Untill

then diary goodnight.

Dear diary,
I have finally made it here in Texas! I arrived here in Blackwater, its beauitful and everywhere i

look there are people talking and smileing.This looks to be a nice place, but i want to further

explore Texas. The next town over, is Theiveslanding according to the bartender in the

saloon, here in Blackwater, i'll need my rest to push on tomorrow. So i have rented a room

here in the hotel. Tomorrow will be great, i can feel it. Goodnight diary.

Dear diary,
This morning i awoke, washed up, and returned the room. I had the egg and bacon breakfest

the saloon was serving. After breakfest i fed and watered Bubbles, my horse. She means the

world to me because she was a gift from my father. He had bought the horse for my mother, it

was suposed to be a gift for after i was born, she loved white horses but she never did see it .

Anyways, after Bubbles was ready i headed toward Theiveslanding. The ride was long but

relaxing. Theiveslanding is a dark swampy place that was some how still beauitful. The people

here look like they are mad at everything and everyone. They stare at me like i'm out of place.
As i hitched Bubbles i looked up and seen a dead man with a sign that read cheater, an awful

sight. But i tried to keep my mind off of it and walked in to get a drink and directions to the

nearest town. The bartender didnt say much, just what did i want and stared at me with a

strange glare in his eyes that said,"If you stay any longer i'm gonna kill you." So, i finished my

drink and headed off again. The ride was even longer, but i passed a ranch there owned by a

man named Mr. Mcfarlane, and he was nice enough to rent me a room, and let me put Bubbles

with his horses. I am tired and need a good resting so goodnight for now.

July 20, 1895
Dear diary,
This morning i awoke very rested and excited to see what today was going to bring. Mr.

Mcfarlane invited me to stay for breakfest and asked if i was interested in a job there working

on the ranch. I was very greatful for this, but this wasn't the job i most desired and

respectfuly declined his offer. After breakfest i retrevied Bubbles and set out again.The lands

were so amazing! I wished to take them with me. The town i have stopped at is Armadillo, it is

a small town with friendly people, a place i could live in. But not yet, i want to see more.

However, there is an abandoned undertaker shop here i think i will buy. If i make this buy i

could be like everyone else, working hard to make a living, and i have always been good with

building. My uncle would, from time to time, take me with him to work. He showed me the trade

of building things, such as houses and chairs. Of course, there was many more, but i think a

cuffin will come just as natruly. And anyone can dig a hole. I plan to ask around before

leaveing town. I have rented a room here in the saloon. I don't know what tomorrow holds, but

i need my rest now so goodnight.

Dear diary,
Today i asked around to see who owned the undertaker shop. It turns out the owner died

some years back, and the bank is the owner now, and looking to sell. I have filled out all the

papers, handed over the money, and they handed over the keys. I went straight over to the

shop to take a look around. It was dark and covered in dust and the roof leaked from the holes

and cracks. It looks like alot of work. Tomorrow i will head to tall trees to get wood for both

the shop and the coffins. If i make it back in time i will start repairing the shop. Today was

along day but a good one. After i get the shop done, there is a back bedroom that i will be

staying in. But enough for now i must get my rest goodnight.

July 22, 1895
Dear diary,
This morning i awoke to it raining fairly hard. I ate breakfest, and began dusting, and going

through the crates in a small closet in the back. Inside the crates where pictures and

documents and an old bible. The pictures where creepy, in some of the pictures the people

looked a sleep or dead even . Either way it sent a chill down my back. The documents were

the ownership of the shop, birth certificates, etc..Around eleven the rain stopped. So, i headed

to get Bubbles and went on my way to tall trees for wood. Tall trees is close to Blackwater so

you can imagine how long this trip was. When i arrived at the front of Tall trees i looked up

high into the sky, and the sun shined down and peaked in through the trees. The trees were

tall enough to reach to the heavens. All around me i heard birds chirping and animals playing.
Though it was beautiful, it was terrofying. for there are bears and other dangerous animals.
I have guns, but i was never good with them. As i rode through Talltrees i was imagining things

like bears killing me and such. I finaly arrived at Manzanta. It was beautiful, there was the

store itself that stood in the middle, and tents all around. I feel more at peace here. I almost

had forgotten the terror i felt riding in. I bought the wood supply i had came for and rented a

tent for the night. The shop keeper was very nice and assured me i would be safe here,

because he had three dogs trained to protect anyone on the property. And with that in mind i

will sleep much better i'm sure.

July 23, 1895
Dear diary,
This morning when i awoke i was hungry, but had no food at hand. So, i decided to go into manzanta post to see if they sold meat or anything edible. He sold me one deer steak and a potato. I paid the man and went back to the tent to cook it up. After i finished up eating i put out the fire and went into manzanta post to retreve the wood when it had accured to me, i had no way to get the wood back to the shop. i had left Armadillo in such a hurry i forgot to purchase a wagon. I told the shop keeper about my forgetfulness he chuckled and said," that he sold wagons here. Relived i smiled and asked if i could buy one, and of course he said yes and then got me set up with a wagon and two horses. Afterwards we went back to the wood pile to start loading. After we were done i hitched Bubbles to the front of the wagon and headed out. Riding out i was suddenly overwhelmed with terror.
i heard a growl comeing from behind me. I didn't think twice, as soon as i heard this me and the horses took off in a speed that was as fast as the wind. We reached the front of Tall trees, much faster then expected, but i was just relived to be safe. The horses were now tired so i found a little stream nearby and let them drink and rest up. After a few moments we headed back to Armadillo. On the way i couldn't help but wounder "what made that noise i had heard and what wouldv'e happened if i had looked back?" I arrived here in Armadillo and i backed my wagon in real close to the shop so it would be hard for any one to see, took the horses to the stables, and rerented a room here in the hotel. I need my rest for tomorrow will be a busy day of building. goodnight for now.

Dear diary,
I awoke this morning ready to work i sat down and made a few posters stating that; I Jenna white was repairing the undertaker shop, hiring anyone who knew what a hammer and nail was, and knew how to use them. After i had a few done i took them down to the saloon and laidem on the table. The bartender watched me, but didn't say anything about the posters. I sat down in front of the man and asked for the days speacial and a drink. I finished up eating as fast as i could and headed over to the shop. I first started on the porch. The wood was rotted and there was a big hole on the far left end of the porch. when i was finishing up on the porch a man named Al approched me asking about the poster he had seen in the saloon. I asked him if he knew how to use a hammer. He kept a straight face and said yes.I got the feeling he didn't joke alot and i gave him the job. He went to work imedietly. He worked on the sign while i started on the roof. Al never did say anything else today, and around seven i told him he could go for the tonight. he placed the hammer down and tipped his hat as he passed by me. I walked over to the saloon to have some dinner after i headed up the stairs to my room here and began to write this, but i am exhausted and can barely hold my eyes open. so, goodnight.

July 25, 1895
Dear diary,
This morning my arms were hurting and i found it hard to lift them. I washed up and headed down the stairs to get some breakfest. The pain in my arm wasn't letting up, but i wasn't letting a little pain stop me. after my breakfest i went to the shop, and to my surprise Al was standing there on the porch ready to work. He worked on the siding and i finished up on the roof. I thought to myself," the outside is looking as good as new."I headed into work on the room, so that i could start staying here. The room's floor had a hole the size of a bucket, and to replace it i had to remove all the wood surrounding the hole. When i was putting the last board in place Al come in behind me making the floor sqeaking, scaring me half to death, and with a straight face asked me what i wanted him to work on. I told him if he likes he could go home for the day. He didn't say anything just went into th office and began to patch up the flooring. I went out to the store and picked up some chicken and potatoes, and made a fire in the back of the property. I cooked em up and offered some to Al. he ate silently and then left.
We have gotten alot done today, but if i want to finish tomorrow i need my sleep. so, goodnight for now.

July 26, 1895
Dear diary,
Last night i couldn't sleep. I kept hearing voices and seeing a black figure pass over me.
I began to feel terrified when i heard a door slam. I started to get up and get out when, all of a sudden, i felt a since of peace. I think i even seen my dad standing next to me, but he disappeared just as quickly as he had appeared. Everthing was quit and calm again, so i laid back down. It was hard to sleep with this event in mind. I was always interested in the afterlife
and ghost stories, but untill now i had never experienced anything like that. When the sun came up i arose and made some eggs for breakfest. When i was about to sit down to eat when Al walked up to me. I handed him a plate of eggs and started to eat. When we were done we went in to finish the shop. While working i was thinking "that maybe i could work here in the shop during the day and look in to the afterlife at night." I just need to wait for something to turn up. Today seemed to go much faster with my mind elsewhere. I asked Al if he was looking for a more permanent job, and he looked up as if he didn't know what to say. After a minute he said he would do anything i needed of him. after seven came the shop was done, with the exception of clean furniture. I was hungry, and i know he was too. so, i offered to buy him supper at the saloon. After dinner we parted ways and i headed back to the shop. I don't know what tonight holds, but for now i wish to get some sleep. so goodnight for now.
